Previewing Your Yearbook Before Ordering
Understand the preview and proofing options available to advisers and parents before ordering a yearbook.
Table of Contents
Preview options depend on whether you are an Adviser working on the yearbook or a Parent purchasing a copy.
👩🏫 Preview Options for Advisers
Advisers have several ways to review a yearbook before placing a larger order.
🖥️ Editor Preview
While working on the yearbook, advisers can review pages directly within Creator Studio.
This is useful for checking page content and design while the project is still being edited.
📄 Digital Proof
Advisers can request a digital proof of the yearbook.

Digital proofs:
- Can be reviewed before ordering
- Can be shared with others
- Can be printed
🖨️Printing Resolution
Digital proofs are low-resolution PDF files. If printed, they will not represent the final print quality of the finished yearbook.
📚 Test Order
Projects with at least 20 pages may be eligible for a physical test order.
To access this option:
- Click Finalize and Order
- Locate the Test Order link
- Follow the prompts to place the test order
A test order allows the adviser to review a physical copy before placing a larger order.

⚠️Availability Notice
Test orders may not be available for all Creator Studio users.
💻 eYearbook
If the yearbook is complete, an adviser can also order an eYearbook to review the completed book digitally before placing a larger physical order.
This can be used even if the yearbook has not yet been made available through a storefront.

👨👩👧 Preview Options for Parents
Parents do not have access to the contents of the yearbook before ordering.
Parents cannot:
- Access the yearbook editor
- Request a digital proof
- Preview individual pages
- Browse the completed yearbook before purchase
Parents can either:
- Order a physical yearbook
- Order an eYearbook instead of a physical copy, if the school offers the eYearbook without an additional charge
- Learn what's included in an eYearbook Purchase HERE
This keeps access to the yearbook content limited to the users responsible for creating and reviewing the project before publication.
