📖 Introduction 🔄 Converting Pages to Spreads 🖼️ Understanding Spreads vs Pages Spreads Individual Pages ⚠️ Important Notes 🧠 When to Use Spreads

📖 Introduction

In Creator Studio, you can convert individual pages into spreads to create continuous designs across two pages. This is useful for full-bleed images, backgrounds, and layouts that span across the center of the book.

🔄 Converting Pages to Spreads

  1. Open your project and navigate to the Editor
  2. Select the page you want to convert (either the left or right page)
  3. In the top-right corner, hover over Advanced
  4. From the dropdown menu, select:
    • Convert to Spread to combine pages
    • Convert to Pages to separate a spread back into individual pages

🖼️ Understanding Spreads vs Pages

Spreads

  • Combine two pages into one continuous layout
  • Allow images and backgrounds to span across both pages
  • Reduce or eliminate visible breaks in design across the center

Individual Pages

  • Each page is designed separately
  • Allows different backgrounds or layouts per page
  • Does not support continuous cross-page elements

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Portrait pages cannot be converted into spreads
  • Parent Ad pages cannot be converted into spreads
  • Converting between pages and spreads may affect existing layouts and element positioning

🧠 When to Use Spreads

Use spreads when:

  • Designing full-width images
  • Creating panoramic layouts
  • Applying continuous backgrounds across two pages
