📘 Introduction

If Creator Studio pages, images, or tools are not loading correctly, the issue may be caused by network firewall restrictions or content filtering systems used by your school.

This article provides the required domains and services that must be allowed for Creator Studio to function correctly.

These instructions are intended for school IT administrators responsible for managing network security and firewall settings.

🔌 Required Network Ports

Creator Studio requires the following network ports to be open:

Port 80 (HTTP)

Port 443 (HTTPS)

Most networks allow these ports by default, but restrictive firewalls may block services routed through them.

🌍 Creator Studio Core Domains

These domains support the main Creator Studio platform.

picabooyearbooks.com
www.picabooyearbooks.com

🧑‍💻 Creator Studio Editor Applications

These domains host the Creator Studio editing interface.

creatorstudio.picabooyearbooks.com
editor.picabooyearbooks.com

⚙️ Creator Studio Backend Services

These services support uploads, APIs, background services, and application functionality.

app.picabooyearbooks.com
app2.picabooyearbooks.com
commerce.picabooyearbooks.com
storeapi.picabooyearbooks.com
backgrounds.picabooyearbooks.com
artwork.picabooyearbooks.com
mds.picaboo.com
backgroundsmds.picaboo.com

☁️ Amazon S3 Storage Access (Images and Assets)

Creator Studio stores images, backgrounds, and design assets using Amazon S3 cloud storage.

If these services are blocked, the following issues may occur:

  • images not appearing in the editor
  • backgrounds failing to load
  • uploaded photos missing
  • blank areas appearing on pages

The following storage endpoints must be accessible:

picaprodmds.s3.amazonaws.com
picaproduploads.s3.amazonaws.com
s3.amazonaws.com

Some school networks block generic Amazon S3 domains by default. If images fail to load in Creator Studio, verify that these domains are allowed.

🛒 Storefront and Ordering Services

If your project uses storefront or ordering features, the following domains must also be accessible.

store.shopyearbook.com
myyearbook.shopyearbook.com
checkout.shopyearbook.com
app.shopyearbook.com
app2.shopyearbook.com
commerce.shopyearbook.com
storeapi.shopyearbook.com
cdn2.shopyearbook.com
artwork.shopyearbook.com

📤 Optional Photo and Upload Services

Some projects may use additional services for photo management and uploads.

adstore.shopyearbook.com
uploads.shopyearbook.com
uploads.picabooyearbooks.com
manage.myyearbookphoto.com

🔗 Required Third-Party Services

Creator Studio integrates with several third-party platforms for editing tools, fonts, analytics, and payment processing.

These services must also be accessible on the network.

ws.pusherapp.com
www.photoeditorsdk.com
api.photoeditorsdk.com
photoeditorsdk.com
api.rollbar.com
use.typekit.net
j.typekit.net
maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com
cdnjs.cloudflare.com
payments.braintree-api.com
assets.braintreegateway.com
client-analytics.braintreegateway.com
www.paypalobjects.com
maps.googleapis.com
apis.google.com

🏫 Network Filtering Systems (Example: iBoss)

Some schools use network filtering systems such as iBoss to control internet access.

If Creator Studio services are blocked by these systems, IT administrators may need to:

  • bypass the domain from SSL inspection or SSL decryption
  • bypass the destination within the network PAC file
  • add Creator Studio domains to the firewall allow list

Once these domains are allowed, Creator Studio services should load normally.
