⚠️ Important

The PSPA importer only supports JPEG (.jpg / .jpeg) image files.

If your PSPA CD contains unsupported formats such as TIFF (.tif / .tiff), those files must be converted before importing.

📋 Before You Begin

Before starting, make sure you:

✅ Have access to the PSPA CD files
✅ Create a folder on your computer for the copied files
✅ Have an image converter installed

Recommended Tools

  • Adobe Bridge
  • Adobe Photoshop (Image Processor)
  • XnConvert
  • IrfanView
  • Any bulk image converter

    📝Note

Any image conversion software that supports batch processing can be used to convert unsupported file types into JPEG format.

💾 Step 1: Copy the PSPA CD to Your Computer

  1. Insert the PSPA CD into your computer.
  2. Open the CD contents.
  3. Copy all files and folders.
  4. Paste them into a new folder on your desktop or another easy-to-find location.

⚠️ Do not import directly from the CD.
Always import from a local folder.

🔄 Step 2: Convert Unsupported Images to JPEG

  1. Open your preferred image conversion tool.
  2. Select the folder containing your copied PSPA files.
  3. Enable Include Subfolders if available.
  4. Set the source file type to TIFF (.tif / .tiff) or your unsupported format.
  5. Set the output format to JPEG (.jpg).
  6. Start the conversion.

Recommended Settings

✅ High quality (90–100%)
✅ Keep original file names when possible
✅ Preserve folder structure

📥 Step 3: Import the Converted Folder

Once the conversion is complete:

  1. Return to your project.
  2. Open the PSPA Importer.
  3. Select the converted folder on your computer.
  4. Start the import.

Your JPEG images should now import successfully.

💡 Tips

  • Keep the original PSPA files until you confirm the import is complete.
  • If duplicate files are created, import the JPEG versions only.
  • Some PSPA CDs may already contain a mix of JPEG and TIFF files. Only unsupported files need to be converted.
